Realising the Ambition training will be delivered by James McTaggart, Early Years Educational Psychologist on Monday 1st June and will be offered twice at 9.30am – 10.30am and 1.30pm – 2.30pm.
These hour long sessions are mainly for Head Teachers, ELC setting managers, Early Years Practitioners, Support Workers and P1 teachers but may be of interest to other education staff who are also welcome to attend.
Please use the link which will be shared by email with setting managers, including childminders, to enter the training. You will need to access thorough a Chrome browser rather than Safari or Internet Explorer.
Realising the Ambition is the new practice guidance for Early Level from the Scottish Government. It calls for a step change in the quality of learning in both nursery and school, while also making this practical and even enjoyable. Staff and child wellbeing are at the heart of the document, making it very fit for our current times. We will highlight the main innovations in Realising the Ambition and reflect together on its challenges and opportunities and how they can help us in the covid-19 reality.
This briefing will be followed up over the next few weeks and months by a rolling series of “bitesize” presentations and discussions to explore in more depth the practical implications.
Participants might like to have the Practice Guidance to hand https://education.gov.scot/improvement/learning-resources/realising-the-ambition/
Thankyou for the update.
When will the link be shared with us?
Kind Regards

Hi, I am working for CALA – Care and Learning Alliance. I have been advised to join your today’s podcast but I am not Manager in Nursery setting. I am a Bi-Lingual Coordinator who works with Highland’s nurseries. Could you send my a ling to this podcast to: k.kochanowska@calachildcare.com?
