Education Scotland are offering a 6 part course aimed at Early Learning and Childcare practitioners in their first four years of practice.

This course is called ‘Pondering pedagogy.

These sessions are being offered as a package and practitioners are committing to attending all six sessions when signing up.  Each session will build upon the session prior with pre-reading/viewing materials shared before each session. The sessions themselves will be a chance for practitioners to hear from others around each of the themes, and also reflect on and discuss their own practice.

The information flyer opposite contains a QR code and link to the Eventbrite page to register. This session is available to any Early Learning and Childcare practitioner working in a funded provider in the public, private (including childminders) and third sectors.  On the event information page, it mentions requiring a Glow email address.  If you do not have a Glow email address you can still attend, please follow the instructions on the Eventbrite page to register by emailing esevents@educationscotland.gov.scot .

Although this session is aimed at those in their first four years in practice, it is also open to those who have been practitioners for longer. If the sessions become oversubscribed, priority will be given in the first instance to those who are in their first four years of practice.      The closing date for applying is 15th September 2023.
