Developmental overviews can be gathered in termly and the information collated and analysed so that you can identify gaps for groups of children, next steps/targets for individual children and gaps in spaces, experiences and interactions in your setting.
These gaps can be planned for through provocations, reviewing how your spaces are resourced both indoors and outdoors and scaffolding learning through children’s interests and play.
