Encourage and Support Early Years Skills for Additional Support Needs

The Psychological Service Home Visiting Teachers (PSHVT) have created a selection of advice sheets on a number of topics related to Additional Support Needs (ASN). The purpose of the EASEYS for ASN is to provide a variety of practical ideas and support strategies for staff working in Early Learning and Childcare Settings (ELC).  You can find more information and follow the Psychological Services blog here.

Advice sheets include topics such as self-regulation, communication with home, gathering a young child’s views, outdoor learning and play plus many more…

The Psychological Services Home Visiting team joined the most recent outdoor play and learning bitesize where they shared key messages to help support inclusive practice when playing and learning outdoors.  You can catch up with the recording of the session here.
