Training: Developing Global Citizens Through Play at Early Level

A free interactive online course for Early Level practitioners (based in nurseries or P1/composite classes) to develop skills and confidence to embed Global Citizenship Education through a child-led, play based approach.  The course, and accompanying resource, aims to provide inspiration and support for practitioners and children to explore and celebrate our diverse world with curiosity, empathy and respect.  

This course will explore:  

• What we mean by Global Citizenship and what this looks like at Early Level  
• How we can adjust experiences, interactions and spaces to support young children to develop the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes of Global Citizenship   
• Provocations, strategies and resources available to support your practice 

The course is aimed at those working with children aged 3-6, although some elements may be useful for those working with younger or older children.
