Aims of the session:
- To understand the purpose of tracking learner progress in ELC
- To develop an understanding of tracking learning in ELC
- To look at how the Highland Council frameworks can support the tracking process
- To consider how you will develop you own setting’s approach to tracking learning
We will:
- Discuss the process of collecting quality evidence as learner data
- Discuss the value of learner data and how this can be used to ensure progress
- Explore systems and processes to understand where children currently are in their learning and how best to support appropriate progress
- Develop an understanding of the early level curriculum and how this relates to children’s learning and progress
