Online training for ELC staff supporting children with ASN in the early years was available for staff to attend in February 2024. A brief outline of the content of the training is listed below and staff teams can now use the materials together if they couldn’t attend the live event. It is an opportunity for ELC staff to become more familiar with:
- the processes involved in assessing and supporting children with Additional Support Needs, using the recommended documentation,
- their role within the Child’s Plans process, and
- the sources of help, advice, and resources available to support them.
